Chicken Jalfrezi
- 1- Wash the chicken and cut it into one inch or smaller pieces.
- 2- Mix the following masala:
- a- Turmeric - 1/4 tea spoon.
- b- Red Chili - 1/2 tea spoon.
- c- Salt - 1 tea spoon.
- d- Coriander 1 tea spoon.
- e- Ginger - 1 tea spoon.
- f- Garlic - 1 tea spoon
- g- Black pepper 1/4 tea spoon.
- h- White pepper 1/4 tea spoon.
- i- Sugar - 1/4 tea spoon.
- j- Cumin powder -1/2 tea spoon.
- k- Mace -1/4 tea spoon.
- l- Lemon - 2 table spoons.
- m- Vinegar - 2 table spoons.
- 3- Marinate the chicken with the masala.
- 4- Cut onions and capsicum into one square peices, cutting them at a slant angle, seperate the onion slices. You can replace onions with other vegetables.
- 5- Take a frying pan and add three big spoonfuls of oil and heat it on high fire.
- 6- Add the chicken to the warm oil.
- 7- Fry for five minutes turning the pieces.
- 8- Add one can of tomatoe sauce and mix.
- 9- Lower the heat.
- 10- Cook for 15 minutes.
- 11- Add the onions and the capsicum.
- 12- Cook for five more minutes.
- 13- Serve with rice.
