Bangladeshi Fried Fish

  1. 1- Take the fish fillet and wash them and then pat dry them.
  2. 2- Cut the fillet into reasonable pieces.
  3. 3- Mix the following Masala:

    • a- Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon.
    • b- Red Chili - 1/2 teaspoon.
    • c- Salt - 1 teaspoon.
    • d- Garam Masala 1/4 teaspoon.
    • e- Ginger - 1/4 teaspoon.
    • f- Garlic - 1/4 teaspoon.
    • g- Lemon 1 - table spoon.

  4. 4- Marinate the fish pieces with the masala for 30 minutes.
  5. 5- Cut one to one and half bunch of green spring onions into half an inch pieces.
  6. 6- Pour two spoons of oil using a non stick spoon in a frying pan.
  7. 7- Turn on the fire on a setting of 7 or 8.
  8. 8- When the oil gets warm, put the pieces in the frying pan.
  9. 9- After frying for two minutes, turn over the pieces.
  10. 10- Fry for two more minutes.
  11. 11- Spread the chopped onions over the fish without turning over the pieces.
  12. 12- Cover the pan and lower the heat.
  13. 13- Cook for ten minutes.
  14. 14- Turn over the pieces.
  15. 15- Cut the lemon into slices and spread them over the onions
  16. 16- Cook for ten more minutes.
  17. 17- Serve with rice.


Ingredients

- Two or three of fish fillets
- Two bunches of Green Onions
- Oil
- Turmeric - 1/4 tea spoon.
- Red Chili - 1/2 tea spoon.
- Salt - 1 tea spoon.
- Garam Masala - 1/4 teaspoon
- Ginger - 1 tea spoon.
- Garlic - 1 tea spoon
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Lemon juice
- Vinegar
