Plain Rice
Plain rice can be eaten with almost any side dish. It is highly recommended to use Basmati rice. It does not matter which brand you choose as long as it is Basmati.
- Take a cooking pot as the rice will be cooked in it without having to pour it from another container.
- Take three cups of rice.
- Wash the rice thoroughly.
- Soak the rice with five cups of water.
- Add half a tea spoon of salt.
- Wait for 30 Minutes.
- Put the pot on fire on mark 9.
- To to make the rice rich, add one chicken stock cube, crush and spread it while mixing the rice thoroughly.
- Pour one big tablespoon of cooking oil.
- Lower the heat to mark 8 and cover the pot.
- When the rice starts boiling, open the lid and lower the heat to mark 6.
- Cook for five to ten minutes until holes appear in rice.
- Mix thoroughly and cook for another one minute.
- Cover the rice and cook for eight minutes on very low fire.
